Santana Row (abbreviated as SR or The Row) is a commercial and residential neighborhood in West San Jose, California. Santana Row is intersected by the major road Stevens Creek Boulevard and is adjacent to local monuments such as Westfield Valley Fair and the Winchester Mystery House.
Frank M. Santana, who sat on San Jose’s planning commission in the 1950s and is also the namesake of the area’s Frank M. Santana Park, gave Santana Row its name. The location was formerly occupied by the Town and Country Village shopping complex.

The 42-acre “village inside a city” was constructed between 2001 and 2002 as a luxury, mixed residential and shopping district at a cost of $450 million. At the time, it was considered “the most ambitious project of its kind in the United States.” In 2010, it was described as a “potentially viable mixed-use development.” The development of Santana Row continued in 2016.
